The Charlotte Jewish News (CJN) is a monthly newspaper mailed at no charge to all Jewish residents of Charlotte. It is an effective and efficient way to reach quality conscious families in the Jewish community. It keeps readers abreast of national and international Jewish-related news. Sections of interest also include art, sports and entertainment; health news; business, finance and real estate; a Jewish travel section; and kosher recipes.

The mission of the CJN is to represent Jewish life in the greater Charlotte area by providing the voice that reports news, information and analysis important to Jewish people and the organized Jewish community. In accomplishing this mission we seek to:

  • Inform, enrich and entertain our readers.
  • Strengthen Jewish identity and facilitate participation in Jewish community life.
  • Provide an effecient advertising and editorial network to businesses that serve the greater Charlotte community.
  • Provide dynamic and effective outreach to the Jewish and inter-faith community.
  • Provide a forum for discussion to engage and educate the Jewish family.
  • Assist the Jewish Federation and its beneficiary agencies to achieve community building goals.
  • Bring to our readers the joy of being Jewish.
