The Consolidated High School of Jewish Studies of Charlotte (CHS) strives to offer both an enriched academic program and an environment in which High School students in grades eight through 12 are exposed to a variety of ideas, values and practices that strengthen Jewish identity.
CHS provides these teens with a natural setting for combining Jewish education with Jewish social experiences. Students are encouraged to expand their knowledge of Hebrew and Judaica and to exchange views on important issues. Students are also encouraged to develop strong Jewish values and a sense of unity with the Jewish people.
The Jewish Federation's support of CHS allows us to expand our programs and continually improve the Jewish education received by teens in Charlotte. Today's students are the Jewish leaders of tomorrow. Hebrew High and the Jewish Federation are partners ensuring that our community will stay strong far into the future.
