Charlotte Jewish Day School is a co-educational elementary school K-5 dedicated to the instruction in, and promotion of, a Jewish religious and cultural education embodying the values of Judaism taught in conjunction with an excellent and intensive program of general studies.  The school strives to develop generations of informed Jewish young people educated in and proud of the dual heritage of Jewish and American cultures. This is a community school open to all Jewish children.

CJDS strives to educate young children and their families and foster a deep love and respect for Judaism, where students are given the opportunity to reach their full potential, to develop the ability to question critically, learn openly and communicate effectively.  In addition to mastering curriculums in language arts, math, science, social studies, Jewish studies, computers, music, art, and physical education, students are encouraged to become independent, responsible, resourceful, and creative learners.
