Temple Beth El, a growing and dynamic Reform congregation, is the largest synagogue in the Carolinas. From our home in Shalom Park, we serve Reform Jews and their families from a wide and diverse geographical region. We believe that our Temple can serve as an extension of the families we serve, and as a warm and caring community where the spiritual, education and social needs of our congregation are met.
We offer Reform Jewish religious observances of the Sabbath and all Jewish holidays, and Reform Jewish education for congregants of all ages. From our Pre-school to our Religious School to our High School, students explore their Jewish identity. Adults have the opportunity to learn at "Beth El University", a series of educational programs. In addition, we offer a variety of activities and opportunities for participation and involvement, including Interfaith and Outreach programming, Social Action projects, auxiliaries such as Brotherhood, Sisterhood (The Women of Reform Judaism), Youth Groups for children of all ages, the Senior Social group, the Young Adults group, Tot Shabbat, the Caring Committee and a host other committees and programs.
