Temple Kol Tikvah is a congregation with a lake flavor. We are inclusive, egalitarian, and fun. As the Reform congregation at the Lake, all are welcome - singles, couples, and families in all of their forms - all who seek to explore the rich possibilities of a Jewish spiritual community.
Just as non-Jewish partners are integral members of their families, we honor these partners as essential pieces of our congregational family. We search together for increasingly more meaningful ways to serve each other, our community, our world and God.
We believe that through gathering, learning, and prayer we can expand the community within our congregation, striving to make our home a place where "everyone knows your name."
We believe that social, intellectual and spiritual development are connected to political and social activism. We must engage with today's challenges in an authentic and honest way. We must also work to fully embrace the joys of life, love and peace. These activities and relationships make our community a place to find fulfillment and meaning.
Fellowship, Jewish learning, and soulful prayer can provide us with direction and purpose in the world. Judaism, Jewish values, and a Jewish tradition that embraces tradition and innovation can fuel that mission.
