Join us for an evening centered on reflection and restoration through different modalities. Together, we will create space to notice where we have been this year, where we hope to grow, and what we want to carry with us into the new year.
Light snacks and refreshments will be available beginning at 6:00pm for anyone coming directly from work, school, or other obligations, before the program begins at 6:30pm.
From 6:30pm to 7:30pm, we will engage in a guided journaling experience with time for personal writing and reflection, and optional opportunities to share with partners or in small groups. We will use the Elul journal included in the High Holy Day brochure, designed to be a companion for continued reflection and spiritual practice throughout the month of Elul.
Then, from 7:45pm to 8:45pm, we will transition into a meditative sound bath experience. Through sound, silence, and stillness, we will explore a different pathway into reflection. One that is less verbal and analytical, and more embodied, calming, and restorative.
Participants are welcome to attend either portion of the evening or stay for the full experience. Whether you are seeking meaningful conversation, quiet introspection, spiritual grounding, or simply a moment to breathe, this evening offers a gentle communal invitation to begin the journey of Elul together.
Register by Sunday, August 23.
