Join STILL for a meaningful and reflective program with Dr. Alan Yamamoto, who will share his family's personal experience of being interned in a Japanese American internment camp during World War II. Dr. Yamamoto, who leads the orchestra program at UNC Charlotte and previously served as conductor of the Central Piedmont Opera Theatre Orchestra, will offer historical context alongside his family's story, exploring themes of resilience, injustice, and remembrance.
