At The Levine-Sklut Judaic Library  

 

Library Closed for Renovations:

The Levine-Sklut Judaic Library at Shalom Park is currently closed for renovations that will be completed in January 2024.

 

During construction, a small lending library is available in the Teen Meeting Room directly across from the Library on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 am-2 pm, and Sundays from 10 am-12pm.

 

Ebooks and online resources are also available.

Baby and Me & PJ Playdate programs will take place on alternate Fridays at 10:30 AM in the Levinson Family Place.

We look forward to welcoming you back to our "new" library in January!

  • Story Time with Miss Debby

    The Center for Jewish Education provides pre-taped storytime that is designed to engage and delight preschool children. Storytime themes range from Jewish holidays to stories that promote positive values as well as stories that are just for fun.

The Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning™ engages adult learners in a life-enhancing study of Jewish texts and ideas that nurtures and deepens Jewish community worldwide. Through classes (both in-person and online) and travel seminars, Melton learners find Jewish texts and ideas accessible and relevant to their lives. They become part of a worldwide movement of committed learners who are empowered to enrich Jewish life.

 

Melton Charlotte is a collaboration between the Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte Center for Jewish Education, Temple Israel, and Temple Beth El.
