Do you follow along with the words of the prayers but wonder what the prayers are about? Are you curious about the structure of our worship and how the clergy plans a service? These multi-week classes will each focus on one section of the service. The class will combine skill-building, including prayer reading and choreography, with opportunities to delve into the structure and meanings of the prayers.

The fall series will focus on the section of the service centered on the Shema. The winter series will focus on the Amidah. It is helpful for participants to have completed a beginner Hebrew reading class, but we will also provide prayers in transliteration.
